The powerful motor is the IWC-made caliber 94800, one of the most complicated mechanical movements ever designed in Schaffhausen. The patented constant force mechanism disconnects the escapement from the direct flow of power through the gear train
and transmits completely even energy pulses to the escapement wheel.
Together with the tourbillon, which compensates for the negative influences of gravity on the oscillation system,
this ensures highly accurate speed. This completes the blackening of the bridges

The 46.2-millimeter case, striking conical crown

The lamellar structure of the outer ring of the dial is inspired
by the cold air intakes of a high-performance engine. Even the black rubber strap incorporates a detail from the world of racing. It features an inlay made from Alcantara®,
